i think this is what it is called, where you hire out snowmobiles. can any one tell me how much it is to do this and what it involves please. thinking of doing it when we go on the 23 FEB!!!

If you like thrill rides and full on excitment, then it isnt worth it..I went on a skidoo trek a last time i was in borovets(xmas 06)(cant remember the name of the company i went with) and it cost 25 lev


The ride was good, but for me it wasnt particularly fast enough.
it lasted about 20 mins, with all that in mind, it is quite a good experience.

Ask your ski instructor or Nick and Vasco in the Titanic, they will have phone number.

In early January cost was 70 lv for an adult, half price for children. If you want your own (no passenger) it was 100 lv. We go double and then change drivers half way round.

You follow a guide, so cannot go off on your own. They are based on the far slope towards Gondola, just up slope by drag lift. You are usually taken out past the ski jump.

Good fun but wrap up warm and take camera.

Ride usually takes an hour with a short stop half way round.

To be honest, that sounds like a better deal, but yeh, have a look around and see what you can get

There's only the one company doing it and with the hike in petrol prices, it has gone up from 55 lv last season.

Still good fun and fantastic scenery.
