Samokov Hotel - URGENT!!!

Can anyone please give me an honest review of the Samokov hotel??As you can read in a different post our D*c*head tour operators are offering us an upgrade from the Iglika to here.
I am concearned and not to offend anyone but last year out there the hotel looked like a dump to be perfectly honest.
Please someone put my mind at rest.

The Samakov is OK! STAYED LAST YEAR AND HONEST ITS ALRIGHT -POOL WAS WARM-ROOMS BIG ENOUGH-FOOD WAS BLOODY AWFUL BUT THERES ENOUGH CHEAP RESTAURANTS AROUND. Sorry about capitals just realised.re: Samokov Hotel - URGENT!!!

We stayed at the Samokov this year (21-28 Jan) first time in this hotel. Like you we had read alot of bad reports about the place however we was most surprised. The rooms are very warm, lots of hot water and beds comfy enough. We took my husbands son and this was his first time ski-ing and he thought the hotel had wonderful facilities. The location was great, easy reach for the gondola & yasrabets 4 man chair lift. As everyone says the food was wasn't always up to much but hey eat ...

Its great for the gondola though! Right opposite and theBar maid in the sports bar is so hot!The singing duo in the restaurant are so crap its hysterical!!re: Samokov Hotel - URGENT!!!

alright for a group of ladswouldnt take the wife-shes a snobby bassa and would demand to go straight home!! thats what i love about bulgaria- the worse i tell her it is the more she refuses to go and I get my annual trip away with the boys!

Stayed at the samakov last year and this year (28th to 4th feb) could fault it was very clean, staff friendly, lots to do for kids including swimming pool table tennis, i had a wonderful masssage and excellent for the gondala!
