We returned to uk on 15th Jan having stayed in the Samokov the only thing i can say is that the hotel its self is good the rooms are clean and warm ,there are no tea or coffee making facilities in the rooms and the "sattelite tv" is actually cable and you will be lucky to find any english speaking programmes on it .

Try the borosport bar and francos pizza the food is first class there and the sunski bar opposite the hotel is very friendly and the ideal place if you want a quiet drink .
The skiing on the other hand is excellent and i would advise you to take the new 4 man chair lift and ski down the blue run that starts at the top and winds its way down through a forest it is unbelievable .
have a good time .
was there last week, Dont expect the Ritz but its a good hotel, clean, and friendly staff.
Toilet paper a little rough but supplied. No kettle in the room so take one and an ordanary adaptor.
TV. only English speaking channel was BBC World service, but that does not matter.
Pool is rather cold! Towels are supplied if you wish to go in thuogh.
bowling alley 7 lev per person but good fun.
