i think all but one of my group has wrist supports. i won't go near a slope without mine.

yes siree! we have one skier in the group, 3 absolute beginner snowboarders - who'll all be having lessons, 2 novices who've never been away and myself and one other - we both have our own boards and a fair bit of experience.
