Hi SP,
Just spoken to Bobby and would have to disagree with Franc on this one (sorry!) - as the place he is talking about uses a machine to do it which reduces the longevity of the ski's. Bobby thinks the best 2 places are either in the bottom station of the gondola or Vasco at snowmasters - based in one of the huts in the gondola car park. The guy based in the gondola station is an ex-bulgarian national coach and does an excellent job. The only negative is that when done by hand they take several hours rather than 20mins, so you have to book them in. What time do you arrive on the saturday? Just wondering if you could get them sorted ready for sunday morning? Prices in most of the places are around 30 to 40lev (by hand) by machine about 5lev cheaper.
Arrive Sofia 1840, so will not be in Boro much before 2030hrs. Only time to dump bags in hotel that evening I think as will be suffering from jet lag and will need an early night.
you could always drop them in on the sunday after skiing? By then you'd also know conditions as if it's a bit rocky etc bobby suggests doing them on departure rather than arrival...unless they're really awful.
Are you back in March or are you deserting us for Canada again...??!
