Season?

When does the season in Pamporovo end?

Reading P. Petes last msg, the half pipe isnt finished yet does that mean season is just starting?

Im heading up there end Feb / start of Mar and don't want to find out everyones gone home and theres no snow

Our ski instructor told us that she'll be working until the end of March or until the snow has vanished so you should be okay!

I've only just come back from Pamps and had a brill holiday, but encountered the same problems with the buses, a taxi is the best alternative.

mofo's I thought the buses were meant to be a good means of transport.
Oh well, I dont mind spending a bit on a cab if it means I dont have to walk anywhere

What hotel were you at, we're off to Perelik.

How much do the cab rides cost? Be good to get an idea of the ££ so we dont get done by el local taxi driver

Have no fear, you will be there bang on mid-season. In fact last year the locals were still skiing well into April. The resort will still be buzzing and you will have a ball.

Taxi drivers were all brilliant, I don't believe any of them would try to fiddle you. You will be looking at about 10levs from your hotel to ski slopes,quicker and not congested like the buses and will NOT break the bank!!

Is it that far from the slopes then I thought it was close. In brochure it says its in resort so I thought that meant on the doorstep...

It's a 10 minute SLOW bus ride away. Never needed to get the cab in the last couple of years, but 10 lev sound steap.

There should be plenty of snow, but PP will have come and gone, so think about taking your own
