Someone just back from Borovets tells me....
Schools are ALL DAY ????? for 6 days!!! what is that all about.
I have an eight year old who wont like that ( being gone all day) also does not give us time as a family to ski together, really cheesed off at this tell me it's not true.
ski school is normally 2hrs in the morning and 2hrs in the afternoon. You will be able to meet up at lunchtime and ski after lessons finished and don't forget you don't have to stay in ski school the whole time. I have been skiing in pamps for the last 3 yrs with my son who is now 7 and it's never been a prob.
You sould not have a problem. as they said 2 hour in the morning and 2 hours in the after noon. so you will have time to ski with him/her. There is alot to pick up in 1 week. In boro there is night skiing so u can ski then as well.
Thanks Y'All,
But really I'm thinking of the younger one, there are 4 of us, 3 Beginners and one (Me) not. I'm not having lessons this year so as to be available for them, what happens at lunch time for the classes, young and old are they held onto or what.?
At lunchtime evryone has lunch in their groups. My son has been with his own instructor most years and his instructor would find out where we were going for lunch and we would all meet up. Yours should also do this if you ask. Always gave littlun some money just in case but never had a prob.
ski school you meet at 9.30 time you get up top its about 10am ski til 12 or 1 when you are ready for a drink or lunch the usually ski until about 3 the drag lift shuts at 3.30 and the gondola closes at about 4pm
rob..
you can do what you like about lunch..just ask their instructor where they will be and you can meet them..reading your post, i wouldnt have thought
theres not gonna be any family skiing anyway if theyve never skied before..
might be worth thinking about getting a private instructor for the first 3 or 4 mornings..at least theyll all be together and you can then take over as instructor after lunch..
We went in the same class as our kids last year, because we were all at a similar level. The classes were pretty flexible, and no one minded if you disappeared some of the time to do stuff on your own. Our instructor was like a guide, who showed us round and gave us some instruction on the way.
