Should the London Olympics now be cancelled and awarded to Paris?

After todays bombing it is clear that London is not a safe enough city to hold the Olympic games. Obviousley after the war in Iraq Britain is inevitably going to be a target for terrorists.

Because of the French oppossition to the war in Iraq Paris is likely to be a much safer city now and in the future. The IOC has behaved irresponsibly in awarding London the games. I think now they should see sense and change their decision to Paris.

We don't know...

Other question: how many people have celebrated their "victory"; 20 persons??
And why London? this city IS multicultural with many religions..

Mark what a short memory some people have, you seem to have forgotten about the bombs on the french underground and the other bombs that went off in and around paris, and you seem to be unaware of the continual sweeping of the track for the high speed train in case of explosive devices.
Athens manged ok, so whats the problem?

Everyone has got to get act as normala and show the terrorists we can't be beaten!!
I have heard on the radio that the prime suspects are a islamic young group from the West Midlands who have gone missing, they are said to be highly educated and extremists. Lets hope they are found soon.

I don't think so Mark - are you in London - have you seen the way Londoners have just got back on their feet and started going into work, finding ingenious ways to get to work today etc.

Yesterday, my sister got turfed off a tube train and ended up cycling home 17 miles having borrowed a bike from a colleague who lived near to where she got chucked off the train.

London goes on - life goes on.

Mark have to agree with everyone else, you are talking rubbish. Total crap. Why dont we all just cancel everything and stay at home under the duvet? Just what the terrosists want.

Lenin once said 'the object of terrorists is to terrorize,' They have done this but for how long Already people are going to work; they have not caused that much lasting chaos. During the olympic games, the police will be on an elevated alert, checking everything and anyone.
