It showed it snowing yesterday morning, then it turned to rain in the afternoon and looks as if it has rained since. Another extremely poor ski season in Borovets!
If you look at the webcam outside the Rila and the Popangelov webcam on this site, you can see that there is less snow than yesterday and more dirt patches.
The webcam page on this site shows the weather at each cam station. Up to Sitnyakovo Express it shows rain.
Sune, who is in the resort at present, posted yesterday that it is heavy rain at resort level.
Sounds worse than ever! I have to travel out on Sunday to sort out my car,so will post an update then for everyone, but I don't think we will be actually bothering to stay for a holiday now.
Arrived in a very wet Sofia yesterday and arrived in Borovets a couple of hours ago. It is not snowing and although it has been,I certainly do not think it was the metre or so people were hoping for!
I would call it a light covering from what I have seen and the resort seems quiet which might actually be a plus for some people ,although not the poor bar and cafe owners I know.
Tomorrow I will have more idea of how much is open and what quality the runs are but fingers crossed it does ...

Tomorrow I will have more idea of how much is open and what quality the runs are but fingers crossed it does look quite "snow like" with grey skies and quite low temperatures.
