re: Ski,boots,lift pass & lessons

For a balanced argument...we used Hunters in 2006 and found their equipment pretty lousy. The instructor was ok but seemed more interested in getting us back to HIS choice of bar after the lessons. Then, while having breakfast at Hunters one morning the owner got very 'p1ssy' with us for asking if we can pay the Bulgarian prices for our food, which were clearly displayed on the menu alongside the 'foreigners' price'
We have since found better places to hire equipment and eat out!

hi jim,
I also recommend Fiona. She has also helped with our ski hire and lessons for the last two years, no problems.

"www.balkan-pms.com is also know as Hunters Ski School, and is based at the Flora. Not to be confused with Balkan Holidays who are a tour operator! Anyway they use Borosport."

oh right these guys, ive tried contacting these via email a few times this way, saying I want to buy 2 learn to snowboard packs but they are not getting back to me. If I phone do they have english speakers manning the phone?

Thanks

re: Ski,boots,lift pass & lessons

couple of things, Balkan-pms also now Borovets-pms, and the equipment has been updated a lot from 3 years ago. Theres a new Manager and the instructors are very capable and quite a differant lot to 3 years ago.
If you are having trouble contacting them drop me line and i can sort it out for you, weve done all our packs (100+) through them this year Cool
