Ski Blade carriage?

I thought they'd fit in my suitcase.......damn they don't.

Do I have to declare them as extra carriage? Will they be the same price as (proper) skis?

Already paid £60 return for 2 extra legroom seats (this is something we need, not just want).

Airlines really pee me off nowadays how they charge for EVERYTHING.

if they are within your weight allowance and are not outsize then you should have to pay no extra

Thank you Bibblyb0bs. Ski-ing is the only holiday I cannot warrant taking 10 pairs of shoes to, so should come in under my allowance!!

This is a weight allowance not a number of bag allowance, so that's what you should focus on. If there is an extra charge, it will probably be based on volumetric weight which should cost less for dimensions than the actual weight, for blades. Still there is no telling with airlines...

Did you get ski bindings fitted in the end?

You might be getting me confused with someone about the bindings?!? But thanks for replying, you're right you never can tell with airlines....x
