re: Ski Boots

Not sure where you are in the country, but try Lockwoods in Leamington Spa, Solutions 4 Feet in Bicester or, for a really random trip, Footworks in Chamonix. All First class fitter and will make sure you gets the boots that fit you best rather than those that match your skis!

It might be worth having a look at Snow+Rock at the Metro Centre (next to Harry Ramsdens). Also I agree with others that you are better off buying from a shop rather than ebay. Me and my wife have jusy bought our first boots (Nordica) and its true different makers are quite differing fits.

Dave

I'm a size 13 and have had no problems in the past (3 years). Last year, I used a pair of size 14's and they were great. I must admit that there is a chance they will run out of the larger sizes, but I go during half term week, so you can imagine the place is very busy. I'm going to Borovets this year and yesterday bought a pair of salomon, which contrary to a previous post, were the widest boot, and far more comfortable than the Rossignol.

re: Ski Boots

Thanks Gub,

That's good to know. Not sure if w/c 17.2.06 is half term week, it possibly could be Thanks for your advice re: makes of boot etc.

Enjoy your holiday in Borovets. We considered there but were told Pomporovo was better for beginners. Bulgaria seems really cheap compared to the rest of Europe. Reports I've read so far seem excellent. How have you found Pomporovo ? Must be good to go back 3 times. Any good tips / advice welcomed.
