Hoping someone can help. We are due to go to Pomporovo in February 2007. A member of our group takes a size 13 shoe. The travel agent assured us we would have no problem but we are getting a little concerned. Anyone been in a similar situation. Your responses would be greatly appreciated ?????
our tour opperator could not guarantee anything above size 11 so we have bought boots this year for my son who is size 13. The same happened in poland last year but we had then got a second hand pair. Try the internet that is where we got his on e bay really good day come in a matter of days.
hope that helps we are going to pamps tomorrow
That's a great help, many thanks for your reply to.
Have a great holiday !!!. Could I ask a big favour, whilst you are there, could you ask if they go up to a Size 13 boot. My email address is [email protected].
I'd also love to hear about your experience on your return. This is the first time ski-ing for my wife and I, her brother ( the size 13 ) and friend.
Slightly off topic but i would advise you won't buy boots of eBay or 2nd hand. Boots are such a personal thing and if you are going to buy, spend a bit more money and go to a good bootfitter. It will save you alot of pain and money.
don't forget that each manufacturers boots will differ in size & fit - Salomon are a very tight/close fit - rossignols are generally quite slack - so take care when buying without trying - i'd advise contacting the ski-wharehouse or your local ski-centre and see if they have branch near you as the SWH do a fairly decent boot called Dalbello or around £80.00+ . I've bought lots of boots on ebay and the prices are great but only if you know the boot your looking for - i wouldn't take the risk ...
