Ski Conditions!!!

Wheres all the snow gone??? Off to Borovets January 21st, haven't been for a few years but it's always been good when i've been in the past.

Has much changed in Borovets in the last 2 years???

Staying at the Rila for the 1st time, very varied reports on the hotel...?!?

re: Ski Conditions!!!

thers def patches you can see on the webcam

the rilas ok it depends on you
its a good hotel with ok food though some love it and others dislike it and good pool - watch the sides of the pool very slippery and if you have children the pool is deep even the shallow end. the rooms are good though basic but its a room to crash in really, are you in room or studiio? there isnt much in the studios for cookig with so take own kettle etc even if your not in studio but in room they didnt before ...

the bars good in the rila and shops there so you dont even have to go outside
reception is good but they often only give out one key even if more than 2 of you in the same room which can be a pain and one time they lost our key but were very helpful

ok cool thanks for that, we are staying in the hotel rooms but I can't imagine we will be too fussy, ski during the day (hopefully, if some snow ever arrives) and bars etc during the evening, and last time we ended up eatin out most nights anyway...

re: Ski Conditions!!!

Hi, Jimmy was there in feb 2005, nice bloke who knows a lot about football. Had a pizza in his place a couple of times. We stayed at Rila, thought it was great for location etc. rooms were clean and warm, food was fine. just okay sometimes, kids went to Jimmys to supplement Rila food a couple of times. Have fun.
