The BBC are just whooping up the new event to the olympics Ski Cross. Don't know what the fuss is all about . just seems like any normal day on the Bansko slopes !

to be fair nikki i hate some skiers with a passion , but these guys rock , faster than boarder x , but a bit proccessional after turn one , but credit where credit is due ...they still are snow lovers after all

Personally I think the boarders were much more exciting, maybe because the course was built for boarders not skiers. Once the first turn was done as per snowlovers post, there wasn't much to see unless someone fell. Still have a huge amount respect for both and maybe next olympics they will make sure both categories have their own course!( I am an equal opportunities skier/boarder wannabe)

Nope don't agree, I was looking forward to seeing what the skiers would be like but didn't find it half as exciting and I felt the women snowboarder tactics were more interesting to watch than the men, skiers didn't look graceful or exciting to me. Stick to the Giant slalom.

Perhaps you could Kate . Just ditch the water ski's for proper ones ....found they work better on snow !

Loved it! Something I've been wanting see for a while - skiiers actually up against each other as opposed a clock!Would have loved a crack at that course!
