Ski Goggles

Hell all, I'm going to Bansko 12th Jan and need to buy some Goggles as lost last ones.

I notice on the sites some Goggles are described as being for Bright days only some are for Overcast use..

Which would be recommended for Bansko? Or can you get pairs suitable for all conditions?....

I just bought new gogles, Cebe £20 from TKmax with 2 sets lens, orange mirror for sunny yellow for overcast, I tend to wear snow sunglasses so only used to have yellow for overcast snowy days. Confused Oh sort of pinkish iridium are sold for all conditions

re: Ski Goggles

goggles are better for flat light, sunglasses for glare. Whatever you do, get double lenses as they are less likely to steam up (when you've face planted especially)

thats not true they still steam up and they are pain to wipe. although they are better than trying to find your sun glasses Razz

Hi
orange or yellow for poor light and darker for bright, agree that you need double lens, also at christmas keep all the little packets of moisture beads and store them all in the goggle bag, this helps reduce the fogging up, once on, leave on and dont keep taking off as this increases the amount of moistue and fogging up

Spend at least £25 on your goggles (as much as you can afford) and you should avoid misting. I have never had any trouble with my Smith goggles and used them in all conditions, they have yellow lenses.

Oakley Wisdoms with Iridium lenses - i love them. by far the best goggles i have owned but wer quite a price.

i use them often enough to justify it though

Very Happy

re: Ski Goggles

when you put your googles on just make sure your face is dry and youve got a nice snug fit to your face..if youve got straggly bits of wet hair or a bit of soggy hat poking through then they will steam up...double lens or not.
