Ski Insurance

Afternoon All,

Just booked a week in Borovets from 27th Jan 2007.

There are 2 couples travelling and have not yet got Ski Insurance, any suggestions would be welcome.

I have been looking on the net and they are coming in around £25 pp, is this about average?

Cheers

TJ

re: Ski Insurance

I've used Nationwide.co.uk for a few years. needed to call on it two years ago when my son had a bad fall on the mountain. Was very glad of it and all went smootly. There was a £50 excess, I think that is normal, which the clinic just took from my debit card. I'm happy to say the boy's leg wasn't broken but the staff at the medical centre in Bansko were excellent - no 4 hours in casualty like the uk!

Beware that not all trvel policies are the same. Check they include war and terrorism as these are frequently excluded in the fine print. I have always used www.journeywise.co.uk

Thats realy cheap what are you covered for? we pay around £100 for anual insurance that includes 21 days skiing with complete cover. If your partner is in any of the forces the war part dosnt cover you.
