Ski Kindergarten Pamporovo

Has anyone got any info on what the kids do at kindergarten in Pamps?

I know the opening hours, but where is it held?

Do they have to stay all day or can we pick them up when we want?

Thanks for your help.

re: Ski Kindergarten Pamporovo

Last season the kindergarten was between the Mourgavets and the Perelik Hotel on the first floor.

If you can find them you can pick them up and drop them off when you want. I say this because they go out sledging and skiing during the day then somewhere else for lunch.

Hope this helps

We used the ski kindergarten last year for our seven year old. We were with Balkan, so we left him at Ski depot 1 at 10am each day. They were then taken off by minibus to the Markony. The day started with a bit of skiing. Then the highlight of the day was going to the Perelek for dinner. After dinner it was back to the slopes for bum boarding - much more fun than skiing...then back to Ski depot 1 for us to pick him up at 3.30pm, after our lessons had finished. On the last evening the kids even had their presentation evening as a group.

Kindergarten sounds good fun. I'm sure that she will enjoy it. How do the times work out? I need to be able to drop her off, leaving enough time to get myself and my son to ski school.

My son and I are in ski school. What would you recommend for meeting up at the end of the day. I don't want to be up the mountain and have my 9 year old son waiting in the cold on his own because his lesson has finished and mine is running a bit late. If you are the same ability you should be able to ski together. If not it can be arranged just ask the instructors. It would probably mean the more able skier going 'down' a group though.

If not the ski instructors would always ensure that your son got back to the ski depot at the end of the day. There is a cafe bar at Ski depot 1 if you booked with Balkan. If you are with another operator you would be starting / finishing the day at ski station 2 ( Malina) there are plenty of places to ...

We're not the same ability at the moment, but he's rapidly catching me up! With any luck he may get there by the time we ski. We're all doing dry slope lessons. We're booked with Crystal, so any ideas where their kindergarten and meeting point for ski school are?

Thanks Jackie

Hi jackie. The times for the Kindergarten were just fine. The Kindergarten team were waiting at the Ski depot to meet the first bus, so we could drop him off anytime after 9am, go for a ski, a drink and then go to teh lessons just after 10am. Picking him up was a bit of a problem. But I got round that by sending my hubby down to the depot at 3.15 when the lessons ended. We were in the same ski school as our 10 year old. He often wanted to go off with his friends after lessons. We had a few kids in our group that were skiing without there parents. It was a bit hard for them getting left alone, but we looked after them until mum returned! We took walkie talkies so that we could all keep in touch and knew where to meet up. The walkie talkies were a great help for us meeting up for lunch. They really helped when I went off skiing on my own, fell and bust my knee. I was taken to the hospital. Kids made it back to the hotel, hubby waited at the ski depot and me on a Skidoo off to the hospital!... we all kept in touch!

The walkie talkies sound a good idea. The worry for me is I'm on my own with my 2 and I can't be in 2 places at once! I'm not going with any other adults so there's no-one to look after them until I can be there. I'm sure that we'll work something out.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I hope that you've recovered now and are back skiing again.

Not back skiing yet! still got time till we go in Feb if not I will take it easy I will be on Holiday after all.
If I was you do not worry you will be at ski depot 2 which is located at the bottom of the slope and you will make new friends from your group we did and never had any problems leaving the kids playing whilst picking up the youngest one from our pick up point which was a chair lift ride back down to ski depot 1 and back
