Ski Package

Hi

Myself and 4 friends will be in Bansko in late March. Having never skied before, we will definitely be needing lessons. Would it be better/cheaper to book the ski package offer from this website (full ski equipment + ski school 4 hrs/day + ski evening + lift pass) or wait until we get there?

Thanks

re: Ski Package

The last time I went skiing, I was 8, so it will be like starting from scratch.

Is it easy to hire ski equipment and book tuition when you're over there? I may need to do so if these guys don't get back to me in time.

Cheers

re: Ski Package

Booking with the package is better as all the hassle is gone, you get there and start your holiday and not having to start booking your lessons, I have also been advised that it is cheeper that way as most tour companys will block book and pass on a discount to customers, the choice is yours, have a good trip which ever way you choose Very Happy Very Happy

re: Ski Package

agree that you dont want to start off with the hassle of having to arrange lessons and equipment, and if you're arriving on a saturday then sunday will be manic with everyone else gettin their equipment/instructors etc so you'll want it as easy as possible.

you've got a while so hopefully they'll get back to you, hey and if not I know a great instructor! If you're all novices, ie the same level, Im sure he'd help you out

last time when you were 8? like riding a bike Im sure... although ...

Thanks guys.

Funnily enough, I just had a reply off the website - someone must be reading the forum Very Happy

Thanks for the offer of a ski instructor - I'll be in touch if I'm struggling to get anything organised.

This happened last year we could not get lessons when we arrivd as it was so busy so we spent the first day mesing on nursery slopes wasting a day... After all my mails and hassle and worry thatthe slopes are very icy and I woul kill myself I called my tour op today ( crystal ski) and booked ski school for us both ... In the end it only cost an extra €100 on our package already booked ( 50 each ) well worth it even if I only go for first few days!! So my advice book it all before you go!!!!

re: Ski Package

Every previous posting like this has been swamped by people saying book before you go - cheaper and good. we did this last year and it was brill. Have not experienced anything else only been once!
