Can anyone help....
I am having a Ski Pack Panic... I know it is cheaper to pre-book but my tour operator(Inghams) is refusing to sell me packs as I depart in less than two weeks... I am sure this is a standard scam of theirs, as there was no mention on their web site of this 14 day policy, I am sure they are hoping I will pay their reps twice the price in resort...
Does anyone know of an operator that will sell Full Ski/Board Packs separately to the actual holiday? Or a cheaper seller ...

Does anyone know of an operator that will sell Full Ski/Board Packs separately to the actual holiday? Or a cheaper seller in the resort? I have enquired with boro-sport and believe the regular price in resort is 295 Euro, around £200.
Any help is gratefully recieved... We leave on 26 Feb
Thanks val,
I have tried Balkan... and the man from Balkan... He say No...! Just like a dozen other operators I have called or emailed... Think I might have to accept the fact that Iam not getting a cheap holiday after all...
It does sound expensive. Although Bulgaria is a cheap option it is the only country I have come across where there is such a difference between pre-booking and buying in resort. We are going to Bansko on 26th with Neilson and they have sold us two lift passes for £75. In the resort they would have been £100 each!
Have a good time anyway. Where are you flying from?
You could try the Albena ski school in Borovets. I booked ski package with them and saved nearly £80. Neilson were charging £170.00 per person. They may be cheaper. You could phone before you go speak to Valentino on 00359 46776277. There is a 2 hour time difference.
Definitely ring Val before travelling and then you are deemed as a pre booked package. He is very helpful and comes highly recommended - from me!! as well as Tanjette.
We fly out this Sunday and booked our beginners ski pack when we booked less than 3 weeks ago. Beginners pack inc. lift pass, ski hire and lessons £94/person. My bro has been before and he's paid £114 for advanced ski lessons. We have booked with Balkan Holidays via going places.
Hi can't understand this as i only booked my holiday with inghams yesterday and phoned up and added the ski pack ans ski carriage today....they did keep going on that i must be complete beginner...but we all know it doesn't matter when you get there as groups for all grades!!! so give them a ring and just say you wish to add this to your booking with your ref no and hopefully you'll get sorted...let me know how you get on......
That is very interesting!! I booked with Inghams about 3 months ago and then called 12 days before departure to add ski packs and they were quite insistant that I was not getting ski packs added and indeed quite rude too! We even had to ask to speak to a manager... who was also rather rude and insistant. I'll have to postpone my judgment of Inghams till after my hols... I do hope they re-deem themselves.
Anyway I have taken the advice of Tanjette and ...
Hmmm.. Thanks Tez (and all)...

Anyway I have taken the advice of Tanjette and Ellie, and called Valentino at Albena ski school.. He says he'll do £98 per person for the whole pack !! Cheaper than Ighams .. and friendlier too!!
