I understand this year that the main ski school in pamps for the tour operators, have instructed the ski instructors that they must take all clients to the Golden Eagle carvery style resturant on the mountain.
The instructors r not happy about this nor r the tourist, not just r the prices a rip off but the tourists is not getting any variety off resturants.

We tourist should dictate were we want to eat not ski school management. In previous years the instructors were allowed to take you to a much wider choice.
In fairness to the individual instructors if they dont do what they r told they face the sack, afterall skischool have reduced the number of instructors from 120 to 45
in addition ski school r also fighting and taking away there ski presentation nights from the local bars daks ,spider white hart etc.
they r now holding them in the Perelick Hall.
i think the school r going to have to work with other businesses r they r going to shoot themselves in the foot and kill pamps
When i went to Pamp, the instucter for the 1st 3 days took us to the same restaurant, as a group we wernt happy with this cos we wanted to eat in a different place each day, on the 4th day we told him and he was more than willing to oblige us. It is after all your holiday and you want to try out different places.
As for the presentation evening, the 1st year i went which was 2003 it was held upstairs in the white hart, the following year it was in the Perelik Hall, it was good, so its not ...

I agree with the above. The experience and enjoyment of skiing in Pamporovo is vastly extended by having a chance to dine in the different lodges on the slopes. My personal favourite is Peter Bar next to the Boheim at the middle station but there are many other really great places such as the Lodge and the Husky Bar. No doubt you too will have your favourite. If I were you I would make it perfectly clear on day 1 that YOU as a group will choose where to eat if thats what you all want to do, ...

They have absolutely no given right to make this decision and it is exploiting you as tourists to force this upon you.
My husband hates this, he argues with his superiors on an almost daily basis, he takes his group to the restaurant he is instructed to as literally he will be sacked if he doesnt, however he loses the trust of his group and his much needed tip.Unfortunately the instructors are being held in a very difficult position, sack or unhappy guests?

this is terrible for the instructors.and the tourists need somehow to complain.
2010 season has been worst and restricting to one resturant is not on

I totally agree, it ridiculous not to allow the guests to eat where they wish, especially whilst on holiday, i can understand restricting restaurants if guests are on full board options but otherwise out of order.I think the only way to try to combat this is specific complaint letters whilst in resort to the tour operators, once you get home they hardly ever reach the resort
