errrr Mat, my K2 Seth Pistol twin tips are 195cm lucky im already here really.... but going to make my trip to Tignes in November interesting ??.... Im am also stuck in the 80's but only in the way of skiwear, gimme that flouro

Hoping to Chris, been over 20 years since i've been in Tignes...
May leave my skis here, and hammer a few pairs of their test skis

I booked way before july 09, but have been on the BA site again and even with the changes you can still take in addition to your one piece of checked luggage, a pair of skis measuring no more than 190. But it also states most skis even over this lenghth should be accepted. Maybe one of us is reading it wrong

Steve C the set up there is pretty good with a good choice of skis and boards to take out, i took my own as i wasn't sure if i went again i wouldnt bother so much easier to use their gear and good stuff too well the snowboards were
Nice food there too and plenty of it cheapest beer was 5 Euro but plenty of it

Hi Sam,
Ye its not that clear is it there is quite a big discussion on it over on snowheads, reading through it again i believe your ski carraige is now included in your 23kg allowance so you could possiblly take your ski's as long as everything doesn't go over 23kg, or as i said get a large snowboard bag and fill it to the limit.....

i don't mind being in control but will hopefully be out on road soon enough

Mat... I too am ready for this season... needing a moutain ski not just an indoor slope fix!
