Book your ski pass and hire before you go with your tour operator. It is cheaper.

For a 6 day boot hire, 6 day ski hire, 6 day lift pass and 6 day tuition I paid £ 146 all in.

Unfortunatly locals don't get the ski pass any cheaper anymore use to be 50% discount 2-3 years ago (not only that you would need BG id card to qualify), but the ski pass is cheaper for everyone at the weekends. It was about 35lev per day at the weekend last year.

Ski hire shouldn't be a problem in the resort check out some of the local smaller shop as hotels/tour operaters tend to use stock that is a few seasons old.

Full package - hire of boots, snowboard or ski's, lift pass and lessons currently 215 euro- approx £207. The prices haven't increased that mush since last season - the problem is with the de-valued euro everything appears far more expensive...

i think you'll find its the sterling that is devalued and the euro is quite strong right now

grab what you can while you can, pack prices already gone up at least 10% from a couple of months ago, just because theyre quoted in euros and the pounds really low now. And it wont recover quickly thats for sure.
