Ski hire

Hi
I've Just booked up a holiday to Bansko from 20th Dec - 27th Dec 08. It'll be my first time skiing out there and i'm looking to hire Boots, Skis and poles! Does anybody know what i can expect to pay for hiring these for a week? and any suggestions where to hire them from?

Cheers

Tiger - now you being obstreperous.

If it's your first time skiing I suspect you will be better getting a ski-hire / tuition package. But I don't know Bansko, so I can't recommend anywhere.

re: Ski hire

You will be much better off buying a beginners ski package from the travel agent you bought your holiday through - much cheaper than hiring in the resort and all the hassle will be taken care of for you.

re: Ski hire

There are plenty of ski hire places within bansko offering some very reasonable prices last year i hired at a cost of only £45 for 6 days. This included boots skis and poles, the shop was located on the left of pirin street as you walked up towards the gondola.they were very helpfull and letsus swap between skis and boards. The shop had a big solomon sign out front.
