re: Ski in March in Bulgaria

I'd say beginning of March if you go 2 weeks. End of March you must be "lucky" with snowconditions. Can be warm with slushy snow, or no snow at all at the lower slopes.
No BG holiday's in March but normally it's quite busy in the weekends.
Have fun there.

re: Ski in March in Bulgaria

Skiing in France is expensive for the French as well, perhaps they are even looking further afield ??
I know that the Scandanavians are, a group of Finns from Helsinki that i took over to Borovets were amazed at the prices, they even thought the `Happy End' was cheap Surprised
Freerider65, if you mail me nearer the time i can definately sort some backcountry skiing if you are interested, in Bansko....
March is quieter, and conditions can be good if the last couple of seasons are anything to go ...
