Ski kindergarten ... upgrade to ski school?

Just a quick question (hopefully!) - what are the chances the kids (ages nearly 6 and 8 and a half) are allowed to join the adults in ski lessons as oppose to going into the ski kindergarten?

As there'll be 8 total beginners in our party (6 adults and the 2 kids) any chance they can be all put together - is it worth asking the question when we're there?

Just a reminder if it makes any difference we're booked through Balkan - wouldn't mind paying extra if the kids could be in same ...

Just a reminder if it makes any difference we're booked through Balkan - wouldn't mind paying extra if the kids could be in same class, am sure they'd enjoy it more which is what it's all about - as oppose to them being together on their own (they're quite shy girls etc) - with it being a group not sure if they would allow that? would be ideal if that could happen!

Sorry, we're going to Pamporovo (and if anyone is confused I have 2 user names on this Jenno and Iain, we're one and the same!)

Don't know about Pamps but I'm sure it's worth asking.

The older one could def. join ski school - have you booked ski package for her? It would only then mean asking for one. You may well be assigned one instructor for your group and as numbers seem to be down this season, may not have anyone else put with you. Kids are often put with adults.

Have a great time Very Happy

Yeah everyone has a package booked but adults on a learn to ski and the kids in kindergarten. Was thinking if numbers were down and being the size of group that we are that there may be some leeway with things - certainly no harm in asking - will raise the issue with Balkan before we go and see what can be done. Thanks! Smile

That would be no problem at all out there Iain/Jenno - may be worthwhile as I am not sure how much skiing they actually do in the Kindergarden. We looked at it two years ago and immediately decided to go with ski school and children with adults was no problem.

re: Ski kindergarten ... upgrade to ski school?

Excellent as that would be more peace of mind for us and they'd enjoy it far more - makes a huge difference knowing they'll be with their mum and grandparents aunts and uncles etc! I'll just be watching with Aoife laughing at them all before passing her over and taking myself off on some runs! Very Happy
