Were off to Borovets on 21st Feb staying at the Samokov (11 of us) we've all booked ski lessons. Does anyone know whether it is mornings or afternoons or split into both.
Theres 11 of us alltogether, interm. and begin. Never been to Borovets before but it sounds fantastic. We went to france at New Year that was great and Austria last March which was also good. Quite a few of our friends have been to Bulgaria both Borovets and Bansko and they recommended it. One of the girsl I work with came back from Bansko 2 weeks ago and she said it was fantastic.and great
Have a great time.
This is a great site for finding things out.

Our ski lessons in Pamporovo last week weren't set times. We thought they were 2 hours morning and 2 hours afternoon. We used to ski from about 9.30am, stop for brandy hot chocolate at about 11.30am, then continue until about 1.30 for lunch and then start again at 2.30ish, finishing at 4.30ish. Some days we did 5 hours.
Just go with the flow and enjoy, its great fun. I wish I was back in Bulgaria, I've been on a real downer since we got back on Saturday, I really miss it ...
Hi Julie

This is a relatively small group this time. When we went to Austria there was 32 of us and in france 21. It is good going in a large group but having said that we met up with couples on there own like yourself and they had a great time as well, its just nice to meet people with the same interest and everybody just 'goes with the flow' no pressure just having a great time.
I think, what this site shows is that skiing is very much one for all and all for one holiday, where everyone enjoys everyone's company and everyone as a sense of 'community feeling'.
Cannot wait to sample that and and of course the hot chocolate and brandies and the stunning scenery... the fresh mountain air and the exhillaration and freedom of skiing
