I have booked ski hire and also snow board pack for my hubby he already has all the gear and is not bothered about having tution, so I now have the option of hiring a board and going to lessons or trying to improve on my snow plough for the 8th time any suggestions
hey mel im in shock and i understood what you said but if you cant ski down a black run after 8 skiing holidays with private lessons then i reckon youre not gonna make it at try 9. go for the boarding hun, youll love it, and as i said you could just be a natural
Ok so i'm crap but I do like the apres ski and my 1st 4 ski holisays where with the girls go whoooosh!!! gang so that maybe has something to do with it but I have tried hard since honest, even a hot chocolate and brandy at the end of each run haven't helped
ive tried skiing loads of times cant do it, two planks dont work for me. boarding, i had one lesson with a guy i met in the pub the night before. he took me to the top of the mountain in a chair and said "lets go back to the bottom". it took me 3 hours to get down, at one point the visability was about ten feet."best conditions to learn" he said, "feel the montain through your board". next time i went up i was passing people on the way back down. Boarding all the way, just watch out for the annoying skiers who don't give a damn about boarders, even when we help them up, they still hit us with their p[oles when they go down the slopes.
