We are 4 adults planning to ski in Borovets early february. We are looking for ski packages (equipment rental, lift pass & lessons) for 6 days. We just want a ski package with a few lessons for the cheapest price possible!
You would be better off going for the full learn to ski pack for biginners, this will give you an option of dropping out when ever you like. The instructors in Boro are very good and do not mind you doing this. As there are 4 of you I dought you will all pick it up at the same learning speed, so whilst 1 or 2 of you may wish to go off the ones unsure will be safe with their instructor.
Try the Inghams catalogue they have good deals and the learn to ski packs are very good.

After 4 hours on the first day, I doubt you would have picked up enough of the basics to be going off on your own, seriously.
They'll progress with stuff as fast as you progress, but I would think you'd need a few days of this before you're ready to drop out, even if you pick it up relatively quickly.
