Ski video

Did anyone else buy the video or DVD done by the ski school video man? We did - 55 lev - not the best money we've ever spent! 2/3 of it consists of very old footage of the three Bulgarian resorts - distorted so all the people look like munchkins! The bit that features our group actually skiing is bitty and the sound quality's awful. Wouldn't bother again

re: Ski video

We bought ours in January from Pamps. We were warned by the guy that the first part would be about the resorts. The rest of the DVD was of the group from the Monday and then the Friday so you could see the improvement. We found it quite good and the kids have a great laugh every time they see themselves fall over.

We also bought the dvd for £20! Filmed on the Monday and then on the Thursdays - what an improvement!!! dare I say! having fallen off the ski lift twice, found the drag lift a challenge and also dropped my stick half way up the mountain on the ski lift! ( does anyone find this familliar)? Good quality and good value and great laugh to watch. We have all been Pamped!!!!!!!!!

re: Ski video

I have not had the video for a number of years but it used to be really good. The guys that film it earn very little and if you say to them what you want I am sure next time you could sort something out that is you will appreciate a lot more.

The more videos they sell the more they earn so it will be in there interest if you are happy.

The videos of you learning to ski can be a really good and watch for years to come so I would recommend it, if you can get something satisfactory.

re: Ski video

It was Pamps - the 'hello moto' guy. I take your point Walshey, but honestly the thing was a rip off for the money. I like the idea of having some general footage about the resort, but this stuff was ancient - it even featured the date at one point - 2001! and not sure about guys earning very little either - five people in our group alone bought the DVD - that's £100 from just one group for about an hour's work in total! I buy blank discs myself, so I know they're dirt cheap - especially ...
