In Pamps, over the far side of the tower, there is a littie-used yellow chairlift which I believe goes to Smolyan (or at least in that direction).
I spent some time looking around when I was these in Feb, but I couldn't see a marked piste heading off in that direction. Is it possible to ski from the tower down to the bottom of that lift ? If so, what colour run is it please ?
Hi Mark,
I believe it is called the slope to the Lakes. It is possible to ski down but it was closed.
I think it is a red and I think to get to it you ski down the Blue where the snowboarders are, right down to the button lift, just passed there I saw a slope Closed off. I think this is where the slope carrys on to the bottom of the chair lift.
I may be wrong, i've never been down there,
but was told that you need to make sure you get time to get the chair lift back up before it ...

Yes it does go to the lakes and there is a long double chairlift that takes you back to the top near the tower.
It is accessed by skiing straight past the button lift on the back blue. The run is no more than a blue but with some narrow bits to contend with. There ia a also quite a bit of walking to do unless you get up a lot of speed in the right places. Because much of this run is tree-lined it is probably the slope with the least amount of snow on and is often the last slope to open in ...

our ski instructor said that it needed a lot of snow to be skiiable, the lift is apparently mostly used by people from smoylan who just use it to get to and from the peak
i like that back blue, but the run in to the tow is a nightmare, all it needs is for the lift guy to get a skovel and chuck some snow on the run in to it and it would be fine but they didnt
the lift to Stoikite is going to be really long, but im not sure if they have made an extra few runs yet, it will probably be just a link to more apartments in Stoikite for people to ski on the 25Km of runs at pamps
