re: Smolyan restaurants

There are a couple of pretty good restaurants right in the centre of Smoylan. I have very young children and always managed to find something suitable for them. Restaurants in Smoylan are also a fraction of the price of those in Pamporovo (Prices really seem to have rocketed in recent years). Good opportunity to have a look in the shops too, they usually open late. Silver very well priced.
Hope you have a good time (when do you go?)

re: Smolyan restaurants

I don't know the name of the restaurant (but someone on here will I'm sure). But a large white traditional Rodope style house on your right, high up overlooking the main road in Smolyan - heading down past the taxi rank towards Bila supermarket is excellent. Food was good quality and prices were as Julie said, a fraction of those in Pamps.

re: Smolyan restaurants

I had a fantastic meal at a fish restaurant in Smolyan in November. No idea how to get there but I could find out the name and address if anyone is interested. It was wonderful!

I love fish but all they seem to have is trout! If you can get the address I'll find it.
Thanks.

re: Smolyan restaurants

As mentioned there are some great restaurants in Smolyan with much lower prices than those in Pamps.
Favourites of ours are:
Milanos - turn left at the lights/T Junction and follow the road past the end of the predestrianised section for about 1/2 mile until you see a wedding shop on the right - turn left + go up the hill for about 400 yeards + you will see some parking spaces on the left - park there + walk across the road + down the steps - the sizzling platters are amazing!
Venus - ...

Venus - cant remember if it is before or after the turn for Milanos but you can find Venus just off the main road down a side street on the right
