Just wondered now temperatures are looking at dropping does that mean snow cannons will work, just a thought to improve snow at bottom level and didnt know much about the mechanics of cannons? Do they use when they can?re: Snow Cannons
Cannons can only be used when temps are between -3 and - 10. Any warmer and the droplets will not form as crystals, any colder and they will just form as ice. Temps are lowering at the moment so every chance the cannons will be operational over the next few days.Pete

I was watching a ski program last week and on there were snow cannons that looked like the new ones they had last year (mobile cannons) the ones that look like jet engines. The ones on the programs work in temps upto +5 degrees.i wonder if these are the same and do they know this if they are?

Wasnt there a dispute between Pamporovo AD and the owners of the lake? therefore no snow machines this year??Just back from Pamps btw. Off out for a bit but will do a report later.
