I am at hotel Rila right now, only 2 ski lifts are working and they are working little some track outside hotel rila but overall there will be no skiing if snow doesnt fall.

There are some chances that snow falls tonight buy I really doubt.
Anyway I am really disappointed

oh dear, I am sorry. Looks like it is going to be a long week!

The forecast is so positive though, maybe to ensure prople still come!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been like the spring in Samokov today (next to Borovets). If there is any precipitation tonight, it will be falling as rain, except at the very top of the mountain where there should be some snow.

Also, forcase for the near future is not looking good.

Snow Reports is forecasting some snow and plenty of sub zero temps over the next week (snow cannons?) so surely all is not lost yet?

raining heavily in bansko today

Hello all

Leaving Borovets tomorrow, no snow here and it will need many days of snow to get a base for decent sking.
We were fortunate because we had booked with Hunters Ski school and Stefan provided a free coach to Bansko every day. I believe it was the only ski school that did!

Even with our travel to Bansko we only managed four hours skiing per day as the journey takes 2 hours each way but support Hunters if you are still coming but I would consider your options.
