Hello allarriving in Borovets on the 27th, which forecast is most reliable? Does not look good at all or I am worrying over nothing?

The only snow in Boro at the moment is on Yastrebets as the snow cannons are (luckily) working full time. Rila side is pretty poor and today the top of the gondola was shut due to too much wind, so everyone had to get taxi's up to mid-way / Yastrebets hotel if they wanted to ski. Saying that, as above the snow is great on there so it could be worse!! More snow is predicted for Saturday / Sunday, but it just doesn't seem cold enough at the moment. I take it then that if report on the snow is accurate the webcams pictures are being fabricated! No a dig it would just be nice to get some accurate information as it is so varied at the mo!re: Snow for 27th
The report is accurate... People asked for an upto date report which is what I sent! I live here and have no reason to put people off, the opposite in fact.
Also not really sure why the snow report relates to the webcams...Yes, you can see people skiing but that doesn't necc mean the snow is good.. As before, Rila side is pretty poor, albeit people are skiing there.. if there's no snow in the next day or so, it will be pretty grim. In terms of the gondola, the top was shut this morning, ...

It's also pretty warm down here, but again, can't say if it's got colder / started snowing up there - I'm sure someone else can update on that later. The 4 man chair on Yastrebets was open (which is where most people are skiing) and the snow there is great - as stated above. We do need more snow, but if it doesn't happen, people coming out will be fine due to the snow cannons.

any more snow likely? Anyone know what temperatures are needed for the snow machines to work? I have read that if above zero they will not work!!re: Snow for 27th

Snow is predicted for Sunday / Monday, but even then only about 10cm which is nowhere near enough as there isn't a proper base yet. Yastrebets side is open today but what was excellent snow at the beginning of the week (due to cannons) is now pure ice. Rila side is a bit icy at the top and then slushy / brown further down. I am totally pro-Bulgaria, but have to say the conditions really are awful and reports that there is 'plenty of snow up the top' just aren't true - sorry! Everyone coming ...
