Snow gone

Can anyone advise me on what to expect at Pamporovo on the 8th March. We've booked back in November thinking March will be fine. Looking at the webcam i'm very very dissapointed. There is more snow in my home land of Scotland. Is it going to be complete waste of time? I cant be bothered going to Bulgeria to see wet muddy hills. Like i say, Scotland has all this. What do you think guys/girls.

Cheers

Darren

re: Snow gone

Snow was terrible at the bottom last year but still had a fab hol and skied at the top. The snow has been much better this year so you should have a great time.

re: Snow gone

There may be more snow up here but its bloody expensive to ski. I have been in March for the last 4 years & although last year was pretty bad right across the whole of Europe, Bulgaria has always faired well. Don't worry to much the forecast is for more snow Razz Razz If all else fails the bars are good Booze Booze Booze Booze

Sorry about using the language used. I'm just so annoyed. That feeling you get in the middle of your stomach of utter disapointment. I'll just ignore that fact the weather report has it as pure sunshine and around max 14 degrees celcius and pray for some snow. How long is from Pamporovo to the next resort which might have snow?

This whole climate change is ruining the winter months. Its crazy. I remember as a kid in Scotland throwing water down the paths and it would freeze up ...

This whole climate change is ruining the winter months. Its crazy. I remember as a kid in Scotland throwing water down the paths and it would freeze up within 10mins for a slide. This winter you through water it would dry up in 25. I Think its going to be America or Canada for me next year. I went 3 valleys in france 6th March last year and it rained for 2 days.

Go to Borovets for the 14th - shouldn't be much skiing going on but plenty of fun. Very Happy
