Snow in Boro

Going to Boro next week & we are getting very worried as the slope shown on the webcam is not looking too good. Can anyone update me on the skiing conditions please.

re: Snow in Boro

hey,
we came home last saturday, and the snow was melting yet, especially on the lower slopes, but a little bit higher (with chairlifts or gondola) the snow was good. As there was quite a bit sun, the slopes were a bit icy in the morning, but I think you'll have a great time overthere
Good luck!

re: Snow in Boro

Hi there, came back last Saturday and it was pretty dire when we left. No snow this week either and none forecast. However, the top of the gondola (weather permitting it will be open) is still quite good but need to get up there early. The red run down to the gondola resembled a grassy mountain slope so avoid that one. Hope a major dump arrives for you and have a fab time whatever!

re: karen ref boro snow

well, Im sorry but having come down there on the last day of my hols on Friday 18th, there were many skiiers struggling to get down it - most resorted to taking their skis off and walking down. There was even something resembling a tree trunk poking through in one part - maybe we are talking about different runs!

re: Snow in Boro

1st Choice & staying at the Rila, maybe its best to stay off the slopes & hit the night clubs & bars. Booze
