Snow in Pamps?

Does anyone know whether the predicted snow arrived? Going Sat and worried that brown patches on Webcam are getting bigger. Realise its at bottom, but mid station one doesn't look much better

I've friends in Pamporovo at the minute. They said the Snow is the worst ever!! Grassy patches over a good bit of the mountain and ice for the rest.
Doesn't look good at all.

re: Snow in Pamps?

My god! I am not going until 10 March. I think that it is going to be a real disaster!

Oh well, I need the break and I'll take my walking shoes, at least we can hike even if we can't ski.

Anyone know much about Malina village thingy in Pamps?

Cheers

Rob

Stayed in Malina village last year, its a good bit out the resort. Their is a ski lift next to it though.

If your staying in the chalets, well their basic. But very warm and clean.

Enjoy Razz

Cheers.

Did you try walking into the resort at all? I was wondering about getting access to the shops and an all important massage!!!

Do they let you get those in hotels if you are not staying in them?

Cheers

Rob

PS please please bring on the snow!!

I am going on the 10th as well. Fingers crossed it might be a late season this year and we will have load's of snow. I am pretty hopeful. When i was there in Jan there was a lot of the locals talking about a late season this year

All depends on what massage you are looking for Confused

But they do normal sports massages and relax massages in most of the hotels but i think the best one is in the Hotel Murgavets. You generally need to book.

re: Snow in Pamps?

Excellent,

I have only been once before to Pamps and it was in march as well and they had been having record snow, it was around 2m or so and still snowing.

They had to cut steps down to the snowboard shack.

that was great conditions. I pray it will be the same this year. but i am not as hopeful.

Despite being at work at the moment i am trawling the weather sites. I know that it doesn't mean anything as I am not going for another 24 odd days, but still...
