snowforecast.com reporting 14cm tomorrow at top in boro, looks like we may get some skiing at Xmas.

If I booked a holiday in BG, as I usually do i would have been in the same situation as all of you. That was what I did in the last 4 seasons. Always looking at the weather forcast and webcams.
To tell you the truth I think that December in BG is a bit risky, especially Pamps.
I couldnt make a late January holiday this season. Thats why I decided to try out the Alps. It seems that the gamble had paid off because there is already 120cms of powder in the resort that I booked in (Savognin ...

Nice post Tom.Most people who are going to the Alps are a bit negative towards those of us that have chosen to go to BG saying how much of a gamble it is, but I totally agree with your decision not to risk it this time & guarantee you get some solid ski-time. Sounds like you'll be back in BG someday given the chance, and yes we do all deserve some good conditions mate. Hope Savognin is a blast for you.

Thanks. Savognin is a very small skiing resort with a very large skiing area. It was a blast in summer 2006 when I was there, I can imagine it all covered in snow.And yes I will be back to BG. Pamps is magic.
