Hi All
I am out tomorrow staying for a wk and have been hourly checking any snow reports/ webcams that I can find. It is my understanding that the snow at resort level has been literally washed away with the recent heavy rain, and the lower slopes behind the Rila etc look very thin and patchy, though the snow up top (Yastrebets) seems unaffected and appears a decent depth. I am not aware that the snow cannons have started yet due to the temperature.The temperature is dropping now and ...

Like yourself a slave to Webcams and Snow Reports and arriving tomorrow, it does indeed look like a gondola trip on the first day, shame as I have not skied for a year (Boro Xmas2007 was great) so wanted to at least ease in gentley withou Qing for half a morning.But still looking forward.

Its in the lap of the Gods as always and we will ski and make the best of what we have...On another positive notethe recent heavy rain seems to have cleansed the streets of Borovets

Definetly looks like snow on the JustBulgaria webcam, the brown patches are less prominent than they were half hour ago. Does look more like rain on the SkiDVD webcam thoughre: Snow report Borovets

hi im also coming out to boro with my girlfriend fo the first time tomorow jus wondering weather anyone can confir that its snowing coz im having trouble with webcams i can ski but my girlfriend is having lessons will they take the group higher up the mountain for better snow or just pospone the lesson? any advice and news would be greatly appreciated many thanksol

the snow cannons have been working in boro, and we have had the kids skiing and sledging this afternoon on the rila slope. The brown patch is actually a very large tree lying across the slope, over 100 yrs old!!( i know i got a bit bored whilst the kids were doing their thing and counted the rings!!) yastrebets 1 2 3 all covered in snow will certainlty ski to mid station and if the snow keeps falling thats fallling now down to the bottom, the new cannons have been at it at night on 2 and ...

The depth up top WAS 75cm but more snow is falling. Yes there will be big queues, but id rather queue than have no snow at all. So for every one coming out tomorrow, its geting colder and youll be skiing, even the beginners!!!!
