Thanks guys just sent off an email .... am sure that they still won't have equipment small enough but thought I'd ask as it saves me hiring it over here and carting it over ......you never know.
You will be surprised what they can cater for. They are an official Burton "Learn to ride centre". The snowboard taster they do caters for all age groups from 5 years old and up.
Cheers Steve but I have been asking them since he was 4 ( he is now 8 ) every year and they have never had boots small enough .... last year they managed to find a board that was only a bit too big but they have always told me smallest boots are a size 3 and that typically they don't start snowboard lessons until kids are 12 but will consider younger kids so long as their feet are big enough for their equipment. I vaguely remember them saying last year that they may look into getting some ...

I vaguely remember them saying last year that they may look into getting some smaller gear but generally kids under 8 are not physically strong enough for boarding. They will provide the lessons but don't have the equipment which is fine as I can hire it over here and take it just wish the little monkey would grow and save me the hassle or just stick to skiing bu hey its his hol too so can't complain too much.
We are going over to Pamps on 15th Feb, what size boots do you need? We have just bought Max our youngest new boarding boots and are looking to sell his old ones which are in excellent nick UK size 2 they are Thirty Two Prions excellent boot?? Also if you are interested we have a Burton Chopper Size 110cm but needs servicing which snowshack would do!!
Thanks for the offer think the board is prob still too big as Logan is only about 110cm tall so I think he needs a board about 90cm but I could be wrong. As for the boots do you know if sizewise they come up the same as Burton boots. Also if you can let me know how much you want for the gear I can have a think about possibly buying it for the future as he certainly seems to have the boarding bug. How old is your son Max and is he boarding this year if so maybe he can show Logan ...

Hi Dona,
Max is 8,we have just bought him a new board as well which is a 136cm, which is slightly taller than him, we took him to Tamworth to try it out and he handled it fine, however he is quite good anyway, what I am trying to say is he probably will be ok and have growing room as well! We paid £100 for the board and £70 for the boots (which come with liners) the Burton ones dont! I would imagine the boots would come up about the same size as Burtons but not sure! We would want £30 for ...

We paid £100 for the board and £70 for the boots (which come with liners) the Burton ones dont! I would imagine the boots would come up about the same size as Burtons but not sure! We would want £30 for the board and £20 for the boots plus postage. If not happy you can send them back if you pay postage. You would need bindings as we have put the on his new board, positive snowshack will have bindings!!!
Check with the boys at the snow shack - they have small boots on order and the delivery was due in yesterday - they had confirmation it was en-route. Sadly too late for my boy who was desperate to learn but hopefully will be OK for yours if they have arrived. This is a delivery that they have been waiting for since October I think they said!
