Snow

Im out with my family on the 26th Jan. We were out this year and the snow was around 3M deep every where on the mountain and the whole of the town was covered, i know this year was an amazing year, But when does it normally start to snow in Borovets? and what are the predictions for this coming season?

As with previous years who knows, but you have picked a great week. I always used to go around Jan 21 but snow appearance was getting poor, mother nature has turned her snow allowance around, look out Boro " YOUR GONNA GET IT"

I remember you from last years posts. we are starting the naked snow dancing at the beginning of Dec. cos do not want to clash with Strictly and Brucey !!! ( Good Game)

for the 17jan you are very safe.
for December's snow though, statistically it is very poor even if we don't like it and try to cover up the facts.
At the moment there are no signs of anything major happening up the mountain tops.Of course this could be the year for December snow.I stick to late jan and up until mid March for quality snow.

I came in March last year, Feb the year before and late Jan in 2006. All have been great times

Last season, which was the best for ages, it did not start to snow until just before Christmas so no need to worry just yet.
And to put everybody's mind at ease a meeting has been called on Saturday in Borovets to discuss these issues.
Where you might ask?
Kas and Bobby's Bar opening night.
Don't expect any answers on Sunday though.

Thanks a bunch Gerry for such short notice of the meeting I'm off duty for the next 6 days and unfortunately made other arrangements. Please pass on my appologies that I am unable to attend although I am severely hurt that I did not get an invite to this grand opening.

Roll on the 26th Jan and another week of drinking and Skiing. Ill be keeping an eye on the web cams. See you all in Bobby's on the 26th.

SP, i thought you already had sent a sick note explaining that you were actually 'to well' to attend ??? We shall of course drag our tired bodies over to Boro, to try to enjoy the day, evening, night, early morning, day... think of us and our commitment to work, just so you guys can enjoy your holidays... its a job, someone has to do it
