re: Snowblades

Hi Adam

we were in boro in 2008 and there was a shop in the rila that sold blades
my only advice would be to make sure you get the proper alpine bindings not the cheaper bindings.
We made that mistake and if you do not use the straps with the cheaper bindings your blades shoot of down the slopes if they come off alpine bindings dtop this happening as they have sort of brake system to stop this happening. They are great fun though

re: Snowblades

You can rent them from several places - the ones at Titanic are in very good condition - they are 15lev for a day. If you then like them you can buy them from them (second-hand) but obviously as although they are good quality, they are not new and you could probably get a good price. I think other places do the same, but I'm not sure. Alternatively, the shop in the rila and samokov hotels sell them as do soem of the little ski shops on the streets. Just make sure you are careful and shop ...

re: Snowblades

Thanx folks... 27 days to go... i will do the shopping around in Boro.. I wish i had the blades now ! we have had another 1/2 inch of snow tonight ontop of what we had over the past week. The local park has a great slope to practise on, all the sledges have really groomed it well !
