its great fun but very hard on the body, well depends how old you are. we did the taster a couple of years ago as i have said its great but reminded me of getting a bloody good hiding and paying for the pleasure, seriously it is good fun but be warned it is painful but hey who knows you may be a natual, good luck and enjoy

A taster will give you an idea of what it's all about. I ski and board, to be honest I find it hard to get the skis on as boarding is much easier once you get the hang of it. From a young uns point of view it's way cooler as well. I learnt both on a dry slope by the way, If you can link turns on a dry slope, on snow it's a peice of cake.

from what we saw of you 2 last year & your mad mother you should stick to sledging or strap a snowboard to your bottom coz thats where you spend most of your time p.s. has you husbands tongue thawed out?

Call in at the Snowshack (just beneath the Markony Bar) and see Gary or Ted. Taster costs something like £30 for all gear and tuition.

If anybody can get her hooked on boarding - they will. Razz

Me personally think 2 hours will not give you enough to know if you wish to carry on learning, its not easy as skiing to start with, what i mean by that it that the basics of skiing are easy to pick up,but once your daughter has got the ...
