Snowboarding in Borovets

I've booked with Balkan Holidays, Borovets over New Year. The thing is, my teenage boys snowboard, and have done for 3 years now, but the only option when booking in Boro seems to be the learn-to-snowboard package (unlike Pamporovo where you can just book a snowboard package). They don't need or want to go through the absolute basics again, though I do want them to have lessons, if only because it means they are not on their own being daft!

simple if you want them to join a group, they can use the intermidiates, then they'll have a blast, happy days alroundNoodles

The school on the first morning will ask for your previous experience and put you in the appropriate group. Dont worry about having booked a LSB Packre: Snowboarding in Borovets

Thanks, I wondered if they would be allowed to join intermediates if I had booked the L2SB pack. I didn't know if there would even be an intermediate group. I just thought that it was the cheapest way to get them the equipment and lift pass. Anyway they only get lessons for 3 half days, so I will need to sort out something for the next 3 days for them.re: Snowboarding in Borovets
For what ever reason there is snow other sb pack available with Balkan this year!! i don't now why asked them but neither do they!!I've arranged lessons for my friends with a chap called fraser,he lives out in Boro..

Hi!i am from greece and i with my friends want to come to bulgaria for snowboarding on december!but we dont know anything about the place!(accomondation,transportation...nothing)!!So,i would appreciate it if someone could give some extra information and tell me how much it will cost this trip for about 5 or 6 days!thank you so much!re: Snowboarding in Borovets
Yeia sou John!You can find lots of information on this site. I found it very useful before my first snowboarding trip. There are also some helpful people here who can tell you most things you need to know, except when it is going to snow!!

we too have booked learn to snowboard package with balkan go on 13th jan, does anyone think as you only get 3 2hour lessons that for the other 3 days will need to get private instructor???can you just get instructor when out there or for the other 3 days is it just practicing to stand up off your arse
