Snowboarding in Pamps

Going end of jan, I've been skiing in pamps, but I do not recall seeing many snowboarders, is there a good reason for this ( i did spend most of my time floundering on the green slopes) or have I made the wrong decision booking sb lessons? Also, is there a difference between SB wrist protectors and skateoard protectors?

Been snowboarding in pamporovo a couple of times,theres plenty going on there for boarders-no worries..
As for the protectors...as long as they fit in your gloves there basically the same..

I have a mate who wore wrist protectors. They transferred the pressure to his lower arm and snap. heh, he must have weak arms too.

Got mine ready and waiting though

I landed on my chest upon my wrist protectors and broke a rib!
Writ was fine though.
its all about learning to fall without sticking your arms out.

ive just come back from pamps and there seams to be more snow boarders this year as i was ski ing and was taken out by one which made me loose my confidence for rest of my holiday

Hehe, if People Skiers thought they could get free drinks from snowboarders crashing into them, a simple run would turn into some form of slalom/obstacle course (skier throwing themselves in front of boarders)
