The weather predictions came true snow on webcam at 1350 metres at Borovets hope it comes down loads and stays till Feb 23rd

blooming lovely snow at the top, weve come back from as far up Mussala as you can get without a rope today, freezing and foggy, but the pistes tomorrow will be great as most were closed today, and are covered in new snow

Pepe,if the snow is that heavy then visability will be low,so they close the pieste for saftey reasons..It's in general only the gondola side that gets shut...
Pieste bashers will be out in the night so the slopes should be perfect in the morning...

Are they using the snow cannons too to top up the lower runs?How much would you sau has come down as forecast on this site only predicted 1cm down bottom?

I'm out there Feb 23rd too as long as it doesn't go warm and melt then we shud be in for great skiing touch wood fingers crossed!
