Snowing in Boro

Looks like it is snowing heavy in Borovets. We just got back on saturday and had a great weeks skiing, looks like all you lucky people going this weekend will have a good one!!!

Apparently they had a foot of snow in Boro - so much there was a power cut !!! Very Happy

Just looked at Webcam Pic too, from this Morn, no afternoon pic showing yet, those lucky people out there at moment it's beautifull, really wish I was still there, Shame!

Power has just come back on in Borovets half an hour ago and its a bit touch and go. Still snowing here and has been all day Very Happy
Looks like bansko has missed out on a bit !!!
We've had a good foot of it and everyone is digging there cars out.Very heavy snow as the temperature is quite mild which is making it very slushy.Off piste skiing, here we come !.Not sure what the avalanche risks will be like???.So for everyone coming to Borovets this weekend, your all in for a treat.Looks ...

We needed snow chains to be able to drive to the resort from Samokov and alot of cars were stranded half way up
Makes for an interesting day i suppose.

going back there 3rd march. went in january and there wasn't much snow so hope it lasts for a couple of weeks. can't wait to get back!
