Snowing in Ireland

I'm sitting here looking at the snow bucketing down and wondering why I'm going to Bulgaria? Thinking I should've booked a sun holiday instead Confused

If you were going to Bansko that's all you'll be doing there as well........sitting looking at the snow. The place is shut. At least Pamps is open.

re: Snowing in Ireland

Bansko is shut due to the very real risk of avalanche which can and does kill people................

Never been there but all the places are of a good standard, although some better than others. You will have a great time there. Had a text from a friend about 2 hours ago and he says the conditions are perfect. Hope it stays that way.

re: Snowing in Ireland

Was said a bit t-i-c, Val. Having been around the world boarding I know the dangers and the neccessity to close. In Whistler they seem to be blasting most nights to keep it safe, and in Kicking Horse I just managed to talk the patrol guy out of pulling my two week pass (with ten days left on it) for accidentally straying ten feet inside a closed zone. Anyway if it's shut it'll just free up more drinking time (Cue father Frank as we have an Irish connection here) Booze Booze Booze Booze Booze Booze Booze ...

And as I'm going away from this "country" of ours, and work for seven days NOTHING can dampen my enthusiasm.
Anyway to all those going.....Enjoy
And to all those staying...it could be worse....it could be me!

John.

re: Snowing in Ireland

Took the day off Corona. It's almost like they save up the worst jobs and bring them to you the day before you go on holiday. So I have a cunning plan.....
Tell them you finish Fri afternoon and break up Thurs eve!
Works a treat.
Have a good one........John.
