This forum gives me a headache sometimes lol, its got to be said, im not looking forward to using my brand new snowboard on solid ice, (pray for fresh snow cover) but im looking forward to the cheap alpina beer! and meeting all the skidvd and bulgariaski people who are heading out on the 8th.

I won't be returning to Boro for a good few years but I wouldn't knock anyone for wanting to go there themselves. Of course I expected the prices to go up but perhaps naively I expected the facilities and the level of service to go up too.
I'm no great skier but I have done most of the runs there now and I wanted to do them better this time but the instructor kind of put me off it all for reasons I don't want to go into but he was very rude and his comments were hurtful. I ...

I may only be a punter but to a ski class he is the only way down those montains and he is the guy the group looks up to, to keep everyone safe.
Yes, there is negative stuff on here about BG but surely there is a reason for this? We can't all be making it up?

I might have to sacrifice a few cats....just to be on the safe side

Mojo - I agree - soz for our (my) misunderstanding earlier - mostly stemming from Kev referring to folk as tos*ser which pe*d me off!! 
I am shocked by the amout of 'bad' reports on here this season and agree - this must be a sign of something and indeed not everyone can be wrong....shame it has gone this way but - as I say - perhaps not to be surprised at (even if it feel wrong for us all).
As I said - I am off to Bansko in 2 weeks and then Boro shortly after - I will decide then ...

People will vote with their feet as will I - if you can get higher resorts in Europe with better snow/service/cost then of course people will go there instead.
